Registered but still waiting for activation email?

If you've successfully registered for the Pocketables Forum but have not received the email to activate your account, let me know in this thread. Although you are unable to post replies elsewhere in this forum, if you are a registered member awaiting email confirmation, then you will be allowed to post a reply to this thread.

Certain email services (notably Yahoo! and AOL) automatically block the activation email, so if the message isn't in your spam folder and you don't want to register again using a different email address (Gmail users generally experience no problems), please reply to this thread.

I will then verify/activate your account and contact you with details on how to sign in.

If you are unable to reply to this thread, please fill out this contact form with subject line "Forum activation email" and include your registered user name.

Hmm. I just checked your account and it shows that you're already properly registered. I see that you've also already posted in the Introductions forum, which you shouldn't have been able to do if your account wasn't registered, so I think you're good to go. Let me know if you have any problems.

Hi Jenn -- thanks for the wonderful work on the site. Anyway, I wasn't sure how long one should wait before worrying that they have yet to receive a confirmation email. It's been a few hours, which isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I'm used to these things being largely instantaneous though -- and thus my post here.

Have you tried making a post in another section of the board? If you can, the registration process is probably set to automated registration, and you should be fine.

No, your account just wasn't activated because of Yahoo (described in first post). I've manually completed the registration process for you, so you should be able to post freely now.

I just completed the activation process for you. You can post messages now.
