would be more helpful if each test result was accompanied with the driver version used in the test, else it ends up seeming like an e-penis competition.

Do the IEGD 10s work in Windows 7?

BTW, IEGD 10.1 has gone gold

Diablo II LoD works in 1024x768 and 1600x768 (windowed mode) using D2MultiRes Hack:

I'm still trying to figure out how to run in in full screen mode without issues.
Only tried it in single player mode. I heard LAN games are not supported.

IMO, speed is very much playable, even when you have swarms of monsters attacking.
The enhanced resolution affects gameplay, however. It allows you to see monsters before they see you, so you can take them out with a ranged weapon.

The latest LoD official patch actually gets rid of the dependence on the Diablo 2 CD when starting the game. You still need a CD Key though.

Enjoy!

Tried this but on Win7 you have a pretty poor gameplay with 1600*768!
Even 800*600 is sometimes lagging

Win 7 update says I have the actual drivers, but maybe someone can tell me the best/ newest Win7 video driver!

That was my U2010 now change to U2020,
it has a 1.6 cpu, and the vaio p is the 1.33 model

if you use direct draw while playing classic games you wont feel any nags,
unless the game has problems with the resolution...
