More good news, You can go to the following thread and download the usb port driver. This will fix several of the exclamation point devices in the device manager. You need to update each one manual by installing through "the have disk method" and go to the inf file and install. Once completed you can install the setup.exe and this will allow you to connect the device via usb cable to another system and transfer files.

Ishman, I installed xp tablet edition SP2 and usb works fine but sd card does not show even though device driver shows installed drivers for it. I did flash the bios prior to XP install. Did you find a fix for it. Thanks.

The SD card did not work for me either with SP3. I ended up looking up all possible knowledge base articles with updates for SD card. And one of them worked. Still my write speeds to SD are terrible (60kb/s) but reads speeds are OK.
